The Nigerian Lawyers Association (NLA)  in the United States with headquarters in New York recently elected new officers. ABOVE, President elect - Shamsey Oloko delivers his acceptance speech, while BELOW, the newly elected officers step out to acknowledge their election. NLA holds elections annually.



WESTERN UNION (North America)
recently held an appreciation dinner for its African customers. The Dinner was held in New York and featured a cross section of customers who entertained to African Drums, Zoukous, and blended dinner. As usual, African beauties were in attendance. Sabine (RIGHT) holds the office of  International Market Manager with Western Union. BELOW: A Zoukous band (and dancers) were on hand to shake the house. FURTHER BELOW: Guests shake to the beat.
